'Summer's Cool' for Elementary School Students

A balanced and engaging program for children aged 5-11

Monday – Friday, 9:00 am – 3:00 pm

‘Summer's Cool' revolves around a healthy balance of academic, creative, artistic and athletic activities, held on the YIS campus by qualified staff eager to make this a fun and rewarding summer of learning and growth for your child.

The academic program focuses on identifying needs and working toward targeted improvement in small classes with an outstanding student to teacher ratio. Using information collected about each student prior to the beginning of the program, teachers focus on key areas to improve in an engaging and interactive learning environment, and work toward fostering the confidence and knowledge students need to thrive in the classroom. Parents may select an extra class in math or language arts, held daily, for their child.

As an integral component of the program (and included in the tuition), Zest Catering provides a nutritionally balanced diet of healthy snacks and meals designed to optimize students' energy levels throughout the day. Please see last year's menus for Week 1 and Week 2.
