Visit Us

We encourage prospective families to visit the campus when possible to directly experience our learning environment and community. 

Tours are offered in person and online according to the schedule below when school is in session. In-person tours take about 60 minutes and include interactions with senior administrators, students and admissions staff. Online tours are offered for prospective families residing outside Japan or for those residing in Japan who cannot attend in person. During the summer holiday, school tours are arranged as circumstances and staffing allow.

To request a school tour, please use the Book a Campus Tour link below to contact our Admission Team. In your request, please include some basic information (name, age, grade level, current school/country) regarding the child(ren) for whom you may be interested in applying, along with the desired date of enrollment and some dates that you would be available for a school tour. 

Campus Tour Days when School is in Session

Early Learning Center:  9:10am Tuesdays; 2:00pm Thursdays online
Elementary School:  9:30am Tuesdays and Fridays
Middle School:  10:45am Tuesdays and Fridays
High School:  11:45am Tuesdays and Fridays.

Other Visits
All visits to the school require an appointment. Visitors from outside the school community should contact  reception at yis@yis.ac.jp to make an appointment to visit the school. Alumni and former students who wish to visit the campus can make a campus visit request through the Alumni Page.
