TEDx Youth@YIS

In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TED has created a program called TEDx. TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. Our event is called TEDxYouth@YIS, where x = independently organized TED event. At our TEDxYouth@YIS event, TED Talks video and live speakers will combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events, including ours, are self-organized.

"Dear Future Me"

“Dear Future Me” explores our take on current society through two lenses: our reflection on the present, and our aspirations for the future. This year, at TEDxYouth@YIS, our speakers discuss their take on modern challenges. Through illustrating lessons we can learn from the present day, we hope to encourage everyone to send a thoughtful message to their future self.

Tune in to see how our speakers utilize this phrase to focus on contemporary solutions while improving and striving to become the generation of the future. Reflecting on the past and present, our speakers discuss their take on modernity to create a future none other like before.

This year, you will be able to experience the TedxYouth@YIS event both online and in person. More information will be communicated soon. Don't forget to tune in!
