Each year, the PTSA applies the proceeds from the Food Fair and other fundraising activities to sponsor the PTSA grants for the following school year. The aim is to fund projects and activities that benefit our students and community projects that cannot be (fully) financed by the school. These grants contribute to that little extra which makes YIS unique and more interesting for all our students and for our teachers and parents alike.

Grants proposals are submitted at the beginning of the school year by teachers, parents and students and are voted upon at a general PTSA meeting. A link to the projects for the 2017-2018 school year is provided at the bottom of this page. The link also contains updates on the projects from the 2016-2017 school year.
