The Final Countdown to the Centenary Celebrations Begins!
With the Centenary festivities fast approaching there is growing excitement throughout the YIS community as Dragons from around the world start preparing to unite and celebrate together. Thanks to our dedicated team of YIS community members, both past and present, we are on track to deliver a series of events and celebrations with the primary festivities scheduled for October 24 - 28, 2024.
100th Anniversary Website: Your One-Stop-Shop for Centenary Information
To stay up-to-date with announcements, to buy tickets or register for events, to leave your birthday messages or post your YIS memories check out the 100th Anniversary Website. This is your one-stop-shop for information regarding the centenary celebrations.
Call for pictures, nostalgia and congratulatory messages
Please head over to the Photos and Message Board pages on the website to upload your birthday messages and nostalgic moments. We already have messages and moments shared from Dragons all around the world, but it would be great to fill those boards with as much Dragon Spirit as we can throughout our centenary year.

Memorabilia, Exhibitions and Performances
Our school store will have 100th Anniversary merchandise for sale and there will be exhibitions throughout the year at the school displaying memorabilia celebrating our rich history. There will also be a special exhibition at Yokohama City Hall running from 1 - 3 October, 2024, sharing YIS's history with the residents of Yokohama.
