Middle/High School Programs

Strengthening the three fundamental concepts of the Middle Years Program: holistic learning, intercultural awareness and communication, the Japanese Culture Program’s distinctive arts programs and interactions with the local community extend the broad and balanced curriculum and help students in grades 6 - 10 develop a richer understanding and appreciation of Japanese cultural identities Students in grades 11 and 12 can directly interact with all fields of Japanese art and culture. Furthermore, a database of professionals in various disciplines and links with the community are invaluable resources for students exploring Japan-related Extended Essay topics, Theory of Knowledge and Creativity, Activity and  Service projects. The Japanese Culture Program also directly links to learning experiences through Service, Expeditions and across subject areas.
