Professional artists and craftsmen introduced by the Japanese Culture Program share their expertise in small and intimate classes offering a vast array of programs for the YIS community that have included Japanese language, tea ceremony, calligraphy, dance, history, film, architecture, flower-arranging, kimono/clothing design, 13-string koto, shamisen, taiko and much more.
