Grade 3 Expedition

Developed together with our outdoor education partner Canyons, the Grade 3 expedition provides opportunities for students to explore wilderness and adventure in the natural surroundings of Kanagawa. Students travel from school for 90 mins on a chartered bus to the camp site where they will settle into dormitory style accommodation. Further developing student inquiry into the central idea; Exploration can lead to knowledge and innovation that may impact the world, this overnight experience, also facilitates independence and organization skills in a unique environment. Including water play and problem solving, students will be hands-on when exploring the natural world and experience collaboration with peers through play when solving group problems.
