Safeguarding
YIS promotes and protects the rights of children to physical and psychological well-being. In line with our Strategic Plan, we want students, parents, faculty and staff feel safe at school and enjoy school-community relationships based on trust and respect.
Aligned with the recommendations of the International Task Force on Child Protection, we hold ourselves to the highest standard of effective recruiting practices with specific attention to student protection and ensure that all potential members of staff undergo comprehensive background checks.
